Great Falls Clinic Medical Center recently broke ground on its new facility. The Great Falls Tribune reported, "The 60,000-square-foot facility, announced in April, will house a 19-bed hospital, operating rooms, procedure and emergency room . . . 'We're looking forward to the future of our organization,' CEO Vicki Newmiller said.
Construction is scheduled to begin later this week and has a 14-month schedule. . . Newmiller said the design of the new facility will address some efficiency and space issues with the current, leased buidling.
Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont., and Congressman Steve Daines, R-Mont., spoke at the ceremony. GFC also observed National Ambulatory Surgical Center Day by hosting an open house at its surgery center throughout the day."
